New findings suggest that methane is produced and destroyed on Mars at a far greater rate than it is on earth.

New findings suggest that methane is produced and destroyed on Mars at a far greater rate than it is on earth.

This could be a result of active volcanoes, from a process called serpentinisation or even from known biological processes.
