This year MarsDrive is engaged in several projects that are designed to advance our vision and mission towards a future in space and on Mars starting with our current efforts at MDRS through Randall Shelaga. As part of our public outreach this year we will also soon be announcing new contests and a new petition focused on showing our business and political leaders across the globe that there is indeed an interest in developing inexpensive methods of space access as part of our wider space access plan. Other projects include our humans to Mars mission design now in its 8 month of development and educational outreach through books in schools or our ongoing support of the Mars Gravity Biosat Project which aims to research the effects of Mars gravity on mammals, a crucial piece of data which will be needed for future expeditions there. This year we will also be looking to identify various private space transport researchers we can support and have our members vote on scholarships and small grants in that sector. Along with several conference attendances and our ongoing website improvement and online outreach methods 2008 will be our most exciting year yet! Join us this year as we continue to push for space and Mars, within our reach- within our lifetimes.
