What is Marsdrive?

MarsDrive is an international organisation dedicated to the exploration and settlement of space.

Marsdrive is incorporated in the US and has Registered 501 c 3 status (non profit organisation) with a world-wide membership and branches across North America, Europe and Australasia.

Our Vision

To see humanity become a space faring civilization spreading life throughout the cosmos; filling the barren void with a multitude of vibrant new worlds where we can thrive and prosper.

Our Mission

To enable the rapid expansion of humanity into space by building an organization that can provide funds for space related research and developments necessary to establish a sustainable space economy which includes settlements and research facilities in places like the Moon and Mars.

Our Aims:

MarsDrive aims to get our members directly, and continuously involved in advancing our Mission and realising our Vision.

Their involvement and support enables Marsdrive to stimulate space related activities and events via the future provision of:

• * Scholarships (all related disciplines)
• * Small Grants Program (R & D and Projects)
• * Infrastructure Development Fund (large-scale Capital Grants)

Our Objectives:

To stimulate the development and implementation of a multi-decadal space access plan involving the research and construction of wider government and private space projects such as:

* Human settlements on Mars

* Industrial Complexes and asteroid mining research

* Orbital Solar power Arrays and transmitters

• * Lunar Research Base (Government or Private)

Where Marsdrive is significantly different to the myriad of other space advocacy groups can be summed up in the words of CEO and Founder Frank Stratford: "The future of our expansion into space and onto Mars is really up to each of us. If there is no generation that steps up to make the decision to go, who will?"

The philosophy of MarsDrive is simple - If we want to go - then we have to find ways to enable and fund our own passage. No ifs no buts ... 'No bucks, no Buck Rogers'.
