MarsDrive proudly present - Music with a vague 'Mars' connection! The Mars PatrolThe Mars Patrol is Davina Divine, Ross Nelson & Stephen Parker from Edinburgh, Scotland. You may have seen them recently sharing the stage alongside such artists as KT Tunstall, Kula Shaker, The Feeling & Rooster to name a few. "Attention-getting sound comprised of driving rhythms, great lyrics and hooks, and good old- fashioned musical intercourse." - Chicago Music Guide (Chicago, Illinois) The Mars MushroomsSince 1998, the intergalactic alliteration "mars mushrooms" has been a synonym for pure music, constantly redefining itself. The band consists of five young gentlemen from Germany who have found their very own sound by combining improvisation and mind-bending compositions. The musical roots of the band lie deep within the American jamband scene (think Phish, moe, Widespread Panic), while their European upbringing can also be heard in every note. The band has been touring all over Germany for the last 8 years now, supported by a dedicated organisation of fans. First on MarsSo we are First On Mars. We love what we do. Music is the thing we live for. We love to write music, and love to play it for you. With catchy hooks, blazing guitars, gut wrenching drums, and heartfelt lyrics as our songwriting guidelines, we (first on mars) continue to attract larger and larger audiences to sing along with us across the east coast and southern states. With many years of song writing under our belts, we've emerged with a sound all our own, that captures the attention of anyone that happens to listen. In the past year, First on Mars has displayed a remarkable propensity for receiving radio play that proves the listener friendly nature of our songs. The flow of the live show is relentless and the lyrics beg to be sung along to. Taking inspiration from everyday experiences and emotions such as politics, angst, love, hate, or friendship, First on Mars songs are easy to relate to, and even easier to move to.
30 Seconds to Mars30 Seconds to Mars' self-titled 2002 debut established the group as fresh, new force, revealing a multi-faceted outfit that thrived on creative exploration and escape. And for their follow-up, A Beautiful Lie, frontman Jared Leto wanted to explore an entirely new, far more confessional sonic landscape.
