| Mars Society and MarsDrive Join Forces |

Goals, methods and personalities are many and varied in the Mars community but ultimately we all want to see this most complex challenge become a reality - a future for humanity on Mars. As a first step in this process of collaboration, MarsDrive will be assisting in preparations and spreading the word for the 11th International Mars Society Conference on August 14th to 17th in Boulder, Colorado. We want to see as many members of the general public at this event as possible so that they too can learn of the inspiring and trailblazing work being done to explore and settle Mars. "I am excited by the prospect of partnering with MarsDrive," said Mars Society Executive Director Chris Carberry. "They come to us at a crucial time for our organization. Not only are we staging a tremendous Convention this year, but we are about to mount a large new project which will require more talent, effort, and resources than anything we have previously attempted. I firmly believe that the efforts of MarsDrive will be invaluable and will help us achieve great things." |
