imagine thumbThe drive to Mars has begun. A human on Mars has become the the new 'World Cup' of the space age. Space agencies from NASA to the Chinese to Russian to the ESA talk of one day placing men on Mars.

Recent events has also indicated that government funded space agencies are not the only groups considering the Red Planet. Other organizations and corporations are contemplating their contribution to a mission.

Like any colossal human endeavor, going to Mars will require elaborate cooperation between governments, private industry, educational institutions, space organizations and dedicated workers. Events like the historic launching into space of Spaceship-One, the X-Prize winner, and the publicity and interest generated by Anousheh Ansari's trip to the ISS the possibility of private human space travel has never been better.

With this in mind, MarsDrive, has started an initiative to gather people and resources for a mission to Mars. In the simplest terms, we need people-- that means you. No matter who you are, we believe everyone can play a part in reaching for our goal of Mars. This is your chance to make your mark -- to make a difference -- to reach for new worlds.

Instead of watching a mission to Mars from the sidelines, wouldn’t you like to take part in making history? There are numerous private companies and groups with creative ideas on how they will settle Mars. The one thing they all lack is public support - your support.

The MarsDrive Consortium concept is simple. By joining us, you add your own support to a large scale network of supporters from around the world. When combined with the companies and private space groups working on a humans to Mars program, humans will travel to Mars in a very short time- 10 to 20 years from now. Without your support this cannot happen -- YOU are the key.

When NASA went to the Moon 36 years ago, they needed tens of thousands of people in many different sectors,
working together to make it a success. Having government funding was vital to their success, but even more important, was having dedicated people to get the job done. Many people have come up with different schemes to make a Mars mission possible with private resources, but we believe it will take a mass of dedicated people from all walks of life to make this happen. Our concept is simple. It relies on tried and trusted models of making large scale human space travel possible by building a network of partners and supporters. The question remains- will you join us? If so, contact us today for more information.
